I went to North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. I graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

I am certified in p-12 Health and Physical Education, Middle Grades Language Arts High Q, Middle Grades Reading High Q, and p-12 Special Education General Curriculum.

I graduated from the University of West Georgia in July 2016 with a Master's Degree in Education: Special Education.

I taught physical education for 1 year in Aurora, Illinois before moving down to Georgia in 2009. After I moved here; I taught physical education for 3 years at the high school level. I later changed subject areas and became certified in Special Education, Language Arts and Reading. I began working in Douglas County (Mason Creek Middle School) in January 2013. I am also the Co-Department Chair for Special Education.

Go Wolves!

I currently live in Newnan with my husband Mitch; who is a firefighter in Peachtree City. We we have been married since January of 2014. I love teaching at the middle school level and enjoying seeing my students succeed and go on to do great things in life. Teaching is a passion, not a profession.
